Membership

What are the benefits of membership in CSHRM?

  • CSHRM offers eight educational webinars per year, as well as an annual conference.  Members receive free webinar attendance and discounted conference registration fees. 
  • Ability to post job openings and educational opportunities at your facility on our website.
  • In-person and online networking opportunities with other risk managers and related professionals.

If I join today, when will my membership expire?

Membership dues are valid from January – December each year. CSHRM bills members annually in December. Membership automatically expires if dues are not paid in full prior to the annual conference in March.

Does CSHRM produce a membership directory?

CSHRM maintains a searchable membership directory online that replaces all older print editions. The membership directory is accessible in the Member Area section of the website.

How much are membership dues?

CSHRM membership rates are $90 per year January 1 thru December 31, and can be paid online using a credit card.  Membership dues are non-refundable once paid. 

What health care settings do CSHRM members work in?

CSHRM members come from a variety of settings including, but not limited to, acute care and academic medical centers, integrated delivery systems, insurance carriers, underwriters/captive management, multi-service health facilities, tertiary care, managed care providers, long term care, behavioral health, and law.

Do I have a special membership identification number?

No, at this time your membership is maintained in an access database and is alphabetically located by your last name not by an identification number.

Education Conferences & Meetings

What are the place and dates for the CSHRM Annual Conference?

The CSHRM Annual Conference is held in late February or early March every year. Past conference locations have been in Monterey, Napa and San Francisco, California.

Are conference registration fees refundable?

We offer credits towards the following year’s conference if an attendee needs to cancel at any time prior to the conference’s start.  If you do not want credits towards the following year’s conference, we will provide a full refund if you cancel more than 60 days’ prior to the conference, a 50% refund if you cancel more than 30 days’ prior to the conference.  Credits are only available if you cancel less than 30 days prior to the conference.

What if I have questions, would like to volunteer service or submit an article for publication in the CSHRM online newsletter?
